Many very beautiful places surround it. Kuakata is one of them. It is a wide sandy beach with a mind blowing scenic beauties. It is in Potuakhali district and  about 70 kilometers north of the town. It is the beach where you can enjoy the amazing scene of both sunrise  and sunset. These features attract a lot of tourists from both home and abroad to travel kuakata.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Previously tourists did not feel comfort there due to poor transport and poor housing places. But recent times a lot of development done by the government and local business owners.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;After sunset you can go to the Rakhaine market where you can find several goods made by tribal Rakhaine peoples and also observe their lifestyle. If you are lucky you may enjoy cultural shows presented by this Rakhaine people.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;You can see the highest budhdha incarnation of Bangladesh at misripara, which is 12 kilometers away from kuakata beach. There are also some places where you may like to visit. You can see Gangamati which is a forest reserve and Fatrar chor which is a mangrove forest and part of world famous Sundarban.&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt;During Maghi purnima and rush purnima a lot of people arrive here to have holy bath. Traditional fairs are also arranged.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Kuakata is a virgin place of migratory winter birds. A lot of birds come here during winter. It was named by the tree ‘sundori’. In bangle the meaning of sundarban is as ‘the beautiful forest’. It is famous for the living place of Royal Bengal Tiger. The world’s largest number of tigers inhabit there. It is located at the southern part of Bangladesh. . For miles and miles, the lofty treetops form an unbroken canopy, while nearer the ground, works of high and ebb-tide marked on the soil and tree trunks and the many varieties of the natural mangrove forest have much to offer to an inquisitive visitor. &lt;br /&gt;The sundarban is a cluster of islands, with an approximate area of around 6000 km. the sundarban is intersected by a complex network of tidal waterways, mudflats and small islands of salt-tolerant mangrove forests. It contains a wide variety of wildlife including various species of birds, spotted dear, crocodiles, snake and ape. This forest is known as Royal Bengal tiger’s living palace. It is assumed that around 500 royal Bengal tiger and around 30000 spotted dear lives in this area. It is declared by the UNESCO as a world heritage site in 1997. It is also designated as a ramsar site at may 21, 1992.&lt;br /&gt;Sundarban contains a world’s largest mangrove ecosystem.  To the south it meets with the bay of Bengal, to the east it is bordered by the Baleswar River and to the north there is a sharp interface with intensively cultivated land.&lt;br /&gt;The main flora of this area are sundori, geoa, keora , many kinds of bamboos, golpata etc. Many people live here by collecting golpata and collecting honeys and bee-wax. Sundarban provides almost 45% of all timber and fuel wood output of the country.&lt;br /&gt;The most spectacular things of this forest is a Royal Bengal Tiger swimming across the streams. It is known for its wide sandy beach which is claimed to be the world's longest natural sandy sea beach. It is an unbroken 125 km sandy sea beach with a gentle slope. Since the rise and fall of the tide here is not great, it is a good place for sea bathing. &lt;br /&gt;Cox’s Bazar, mostly famous for its beautiful sea beach and the sunset, has several other attractions, including:&lt;br /&gt;Laboni Beach: This is the main beach of Cox's Bazar and is considered the main beach due to the fact that it is closest to the town. Close to the beach, there are hundreds of small shops selling souvenirs and beach accessories to the tourists.&lt;br /&gt;Himchari: Located about 18 km south of Cox’s Bazar along the sea beach, is a nice place for the picnic and film shooting. This picnic spot is famous for its waterfalls. The road to Himchari runs by the open sea on one side and hills on the other which makes the journey to Himchari very attractive. Its another attraction is the Christmas tree.&lt;br /&gt;Enani Beach: Located 35 km south of Cox’s Bazar, this white sandy beach is located within Ukhia Thana.This beach is famous for its golden sand and clean shark free water which is ideal for sea bathing. It remains top position in the election of new7wonders of nature for long times.It's total length 121 km.&lt;br /&gt;Sundarban is the world's largest mangrove forest located here. It also remained in top three positions in the election of new seven wonders of nature, organized by new seven wondere's foundation.world's famous royal bengal tiger found here. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;There are also many beautiful sites, like kuakata which is an amazing sea beach to enjoy both dawn and sunset.&lt;br /&gt;madhabkunda is the only waterfall in bangladesh. Government announced it as eco park. Here you can also observe the different lifestyles of the aboriginies ‘khasia’.&lt;br /&gt;Many historical sites are also found here like sonargaon, mohasthangor, moynamoti etc. And also some amazing beauties created by the ancient ruler like shatgombuj mosque, ramsagar, kantoji temple, panam nagar and many other sites.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The most attractive sites are the villages of Bangladesh. Villages are all green with trees, crops. The songs of birds break the sleep in the morning.Villagers passes very simple lifestyle. They may poor in wealth but their heart is not poor. You may be hosted in the villages with muri, chira, gore and the water of young coconut. If your luck favors you may get some delicious pitha (cake).&lt;br /&gt;Bangladesh got blessings of nature.
